Food Parcels

Our food parcel service is very well received and every month we approximately give out 90 food parcels to vulnerably housed people living in Charnwood. Thanks to the local community we receive food donations in order to provide this service however we often run out food. To keep this service going, we particularly welcome tins of food, rice & pasta bags and jars of sauces.

Starter Packs

A vital service we provide to our service users who have moved into their new tenancy is our starter packs. Some of our service users have nothing to move in with as they have acquired their first tenancy. To start up the basic necessities of a home- we give starter packs to single people, couples and families. The pack includes items such as duvets & covers, towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, cleaning equipment and light bulbs*.

If the service user has children we will also include items such as nappies, wipes, a stair gate and safety packs (if appropriate) which include cupboard locks etc.

If you have any new unwanted household items which can be used as part of a starter pack please “bridge that gap” donate them to us.

*We cannot give used electric kettles, toasters, fry pans as we do not have the capabilities for testing electrical appliances.
